The Legend of the "Man with an Axe"
In our region, there is a scary legend about the "Man with an Axe", who allegedly lived in the forest near the city. They say that on dark nights he went out to hunt for those who liked to walk alone. Locals claim that his screams can be heard even from a distance, and everyone who met him never returned home. Some say that he leaves his victims in the forest, reminding them of himself with terrible scars on the trees, reminiscent of bloody footprints.
Abandoned House on a Hill
On the highest hill in our area there is an abandoned house known as the "Haunted House". Locals avoid passing by it, especially at night. Legend has it that a tragedy occurred in this house, and since then its inhabitants have not been able to leave its walls. Rumors say that sometimes silhouettes appear in the windows, and strange sounds are heard at night. Some daredevils have tried to go inside, but no one was left without consequences - from creepy visions to inexplicable fear.
