The history of halloween and its secret meanings
id: 10055700

Every year, on October 31, we dress up, decorate our houses with pumpkins and lanterns to celebrate Halloween. But did you know that the roots of this holiday go back to ancient times? Samhain was the name of an ancient Celtic rite that was celebrated on the day when the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead were erased. People lit fires and dressed in scary costumes to ward off evil spirits.

Over time, Samhain transformed into Halloween, and new traditions were added to it, such as carving pumpkins, which are known as "Jackie Lanterns". Today, Halloween is a holiday of mysticism and fun, when we can feel like part of a magical world, immersing ourselves in an atmosphere of fairy tales and mystery.
