First of all, it's important to be mindful of your breathing. The simple “4-7-8” technique can be your salvation in moments of anxiety: inhale for 4 counts, hold your breath for 7, and exhale slowly for 8. This method instantly calms the nervous system.
Then imagine that you have an invisible “shield of calmness”. In moments of stress, try mentally wrapping yourself in this imaginary space where you can take a break and come to your senses. Even 5 minutes of silence or a walk in the fresh air can change your state of mind.
And don't forget the power of gratitude. At the end of the day, write down three things you are grateful for. It could be a warm conversation, a delicious meal, or even just sunshine. This approach helps shift your focus from problems to positives, even if they are small.
