How to get rid of imposed beauty standards.

Understanding that beauty standards are artificially created images
The first step to freedom from beauty standards is the realization that most of the ideals we see in fashion magazines or on social networks are artificial images created with makeup, filters, and Photoshop. People we consider "perfect" are, in fact, the same as us, with their own strengths and weaknesses. As soon as we stop setting these standards as the only criteria for beauty, space is freed up for self-acceptance.
Comparison with others is not our path
Often we start looking for the "ideal" in other people, forgetting that each of us has our own path, our own characteristics and, of course, our own inner world. Constant comparison with others only strengthens the feeling of insecurity. It is important to understand that your ideal is your own comfort, and not someone else's criteria.
Love for yourself is not selfishness, but caring about your inner state
When we love and accept ourselves, it is easier and freer for us to relate to our appearance. This does not mean that we should ignore health or personal hygiene, but it does mean that we can refuse the stress associated with unattainable ideals. Learn to take care of yourself and your body in a way that suits you, and not in a way that fashion dictates.
Practice gratitude for your body
Thank your body more often for everything it does for you. We often criticize it for minor flaws, forgetting that it serves us faithfully and truly, helps us move, feel, experience the joys and sorrows of life. Thank yourself for your health, for your strength and for the opportunity to live another day.
Creating your own style
Fashion is wonderful, but it is important to understand that style should not always be imposed. Allow yourself to be yourself, choose clothes that emphasize your individuality, and not what trends dictate. Experiment with colors, fabrics, accessories, but always stay true to yourself.
Beauty is not measured by the length of your legs or the size of your waist. True beauty is confidence, joy in life and harmony within yourself. Disconnect from imposed standards and allow yourself to be yourself. We are all unique, and this is the most important thing!
Love yourself, and the world will love you back. Yours, Anastasia.
