Winter is near: loneliness

Outside the window, the leaves are changing color to scarlet and gold, and you can already feel winter approaching in the air. With the onset of cold weather, many of us experience not only physical discomfort, but also an emotional slump. And if for couples it is a time of cozy sweaters, hot cocoa and joint evenings, then for single girls, especially those who are looking for their soulmate on dating sites, winter can be a real challenge. However, this is exactly the case that describes me and my fall and approaching winter.
Online dating is a marathon, not a sprint. And sometimes it lasts so long that the hope of meeting the right person melts slower than snow under the spring sun. You spend hours looking through profiles, writing messages, chatting, but there is no long-awaited date. It's like I'm lost in search of communication, warmth, in search of action, it is action and initiative from men that I lack so much... although if someone at least once was decisive and took the initiative, I would not be here and would not be writing this post.
And then, winter comes. Outside the window is gray and cold, in the soul - longing and loneliness. It seems that everyone around you has found their soul mate, and you are left alone with cold tea and an endless ribbon of profiles.

It is especially hard for those who are looking for a relationship not just for fun, but to create a family. Every unsuccessful chat, every message read and unanswered is a blow to self-esteem. Winter intensifies feelings of isolation and depression.

That's how I see loneliness in the fall and winter, and that's how I see my search here, I do not despair, and still believe in a miracle, maybe after this blog I will meet my soulmate).
And I wish you happiness and love! And warm tea! ☕️❤️
