I am raising a genius.

I want to say right away that I do not expect anything supernatural from my son. I am not trying to make him a great scientist or artist. But I believe in the importance of providing him with all the opportunities for development, so that he can choose his own path in life and follow it with confidence.
Where does this path begin? With daily communication, with how I talk to him, discuss important things, emphasize the value of knowledge and curiosity. I don't limit his search, I don't say: "This is not for you" or "You are too young to understand." On the contrary, I try to create a space for him where he can explore the world, ask questions and not be afraid of making mistakes.
Besides, raising a genius is not only about the child having a lot of knowledge, but also about him learning to think critically, analyze information, look at the world from different angles. The learning process itself helps me with this - after all, I often discover something new when I try to explain something to my son. Sometimes his questions make me think, and perhaps even find answers that I had not thought about before.
My son is, of course, not a "young genius," as they often say when a child learns something well. But he is unique to me, like every child. And I try to support his faith in his own strength, give him the opportunity to be himself. And if suddenly he wants to become something unusual, I will support him - perhaps a new great discoverer or scientist is hidden in his soul. I can’t say for sure whether my son will become a great person, but I know for sure that he will be happy if he follows his own path. And this is probably the most important goal of education. After all, raising a genius is not only about knowledge and abilities, but about the child feeling confident, independent and loving the world around him. With love and inspiration, Maria.
