Let me start off by saying I am sorry to hear about what your friend and her daughter are going through. I cant imagine what it is like. I suggest your friend contact doctors without borders. I am not sure if they can help or not but it is definitely worth checking into. The have a website. My thoughts and prayers are with your friend and her little girl.
