Christmas tree decorations from what's at hand
Look around – your house is full of materials for creativity. Don't believe me? In vain!
Jar lids. Draw funny faces on them, glue ribbons – and voilà, done.
Macaroni. They can be painted with gold paint, put together in a wreath or snowflake. The main thing is to make sure that no one takes them back for lunch.
Socks. Turn lonely socks (and who doesn't have them?) into funny snowmen. Fill them with rice, draw eyes and put on a mini-hat – let them bring joy!
Garlands that your neighbors don't have
Why buy garlands if you can make them yourself?
Popcorn garland. Eat, string, eat some more - the process is underway! Just make sure that by the time you decorate, there is more popcorn left than in your belly.
Paper chain. Remember how it was in childhood? Take old magazines, cut out strips and make a rainbow chain. Check with your husband about the "old magazines" section so you don't have to look for a new car catalog later.
Tangerine peel garland. Cut out figures, dry them - and the room smells like a holiday. And if you hang tangerines directly, then you'll have a snack ready.
Balls that no one has seen (and perhaps wouldn't want to see)
Want to impress your guests? Then make balls out of... anything!
From light bulbs. Wrap them with shiny tape or paint them with acrylic. The main thing is to do it carefully, so as not to confuse it with working ones.
From yarn. We coat the threads with glue, wind them around the ball, wait for it to dry, and bam – the masterpiece is ready.
From a cat. Just kidding! But if it voluntarily decides to jump on the tree, that’s already one more living decoration.
A star on the top is our pride
A star is like a crown for your tree, it should shine.
From cardboard. Cover it with glitter, glue ribbons – ideal!
From foil. Simple but effective, the main thing is not to confuse it with sandwich packaging.
From dough. Bake it, decorate it with icing – and you can eat it after the holidays.
Children’s creativity is our superpower
If you have children, use their talent. Give them paints, glitter, paper – and don’t be surprised if the tree turns into cartoon chaos. But how cute!
The finishing touch – decorations from the heart
Write wishes for each family member on cardboard hearts. Hang them on the tree and count how many times a day everyone comes to read them. And for those who love surprises, you can make mini gifts in a package that will be a decoration until the New Year.
And remember: the perfect tree is one that brings joy, even if the toys are slightly crooked, the garland shines only on one side, and the cat knocked down the lower branches. After all, the main thing is the festive atmosphere, laughter and warmth in the house.
Happy New Year! Let your tree become the coziest and most cheerful island of joy. Nadya.
