I don’t like to take photos of myself. how about you?

There’s something special about living in the moment, isn’t there? When you’re not worried about getting the perfect angle or lighting, you can simply be. For me, true beauty lies in the candid, unplanned moments—the laughter shared over a silly joke, the way the sunlight hits your face on a lazy afternoon, or the peaceful expression of someone lost in thought.

But here’s the catch: I often find myself wishing I had more photos to look back on, especially when nostalgia kicks in. What about you? Are you someone who loves documenting every moment, or do you prefer to keep memories locked in your heart?

When I do take photos, they’re rarely of me alone. I love capturing the people I care about, the places I visit, and the small, beautiful details of life—like a cup of coffee with a perfect foam heart or a sunset that paints the sky in shades of pink and gold. For me, these snapshots feel more meaningful than any posed picture could.

But I have to ask: If you could capture one moment from your life to relive forever, what would it be?

Don’t get me wrong—I admire people who are confident in front of the camera. There’s a certain charm in being unapologetically yourself, whether you’re striking a pose or just having fun. Maybe you’re one of those people? 😊 If so, I’d love to learn your secret. How do you manage to be so at ease with the camera?

For now, though, I prefer the intimacy of words. A heartfelt letter, a meaningful conversation, or a shared laugh feels far more personal to me than any photograph could. I think that’s why I’m drawn to writing on this platform—it feels like I’m sharing a piece of my soul, one word at a time.

But here’s a thought: If we were to meet, would you prefer to remember our moments through photos or simply through the memories we create together?

There’s something romantic about the idea of leaving certain memories undocumented, don’t you think? It’s like having a secret that only we share. Every time we think back to that moment, we’ll remember it differently—colored by our feelings, our perspectives, and the way our hearts beat at that time.

And who knows? Maybe you’ll change my mind about photos. Maybe you’ll teach me how to pose without feeling awkward, or show me the joy of capturing life’s little joys on film. Or maybe we’ll just create so many amazing memories together that we won’t need pictures to remind us of how special they are.

Are you a photo enthusiast, or do you prefer to live in the moment without a camera in hand?
What’s your most cherished memory, and do you have a photo to go with it?
If we were to create memories together, would you rather document them in pictures or keep them as our little secret?
As much as I shy away from the camera, I’d love to hear your thoughts—and maybe even see the world through your lens. Let’s discover each other’s stories, one word, one memory, and one smile at a time.
