Weight is such a sensitive topic, especially for women. Society often tells us to look a certain way, fit into a certain mold, and chase perfection that’s entirely subjective. But let me tell you a little secret: Confidence is the most attractive thing you can wear. It lights up your eyes, adds a spark to your smile, and makes people want to know the story behind that glow.
Now, don’t get me wrong—I enjoy staying healthy and active. I love going for a jog on a crisp morning or indulging in yoga to keep my mind and body in balance. But I also love chocolate cake, cozy evenings with pizza, and enjoying a glass of wine with friends. Life is all about balance, isn’t it?
Here’s what I want to ask you:
When you meet someone, what’s the first thing you notice about them? Is it their appearance, their energy, or something else entirely?
How do you define beauty? Is it in the way someone looks, the way they laugh, or the way they make you feel?
Do you think a woman’s weight or appearance should ever overshadow her personality, kindness, or intelligence?
I believe that true connection goes far beyond looks. It’s about shared moments, laughter that feels like music, and conversations that make hours feel like minutes. It’s about being able to show up as your true self—without filters, without pretenses, just real and raw.
So, back to my original question: Do I look fat at 57 kg? Honestly, I think the better question is, Do I look happy? Do I look confident? Do I look like someone you’d want to get to know?
And the answer to that depends on how you see me. Maybe you’ll see a woman who loves to laugh, who dreams of traveling the world, and who believes in the power of love. Maybe you’ll see someone who can be silly, caring, and passionate all at once. Or maybe you’ll see someone who’s still learning to love herself, flaws and all, and wants to find someone to share that journey with.
What about you? Do you ever feel self-conscious about how you look? What do you do to boost your confidence when you’re having a bad day?
I think we all have moments of doubt, but those moments can also teach us something valuable. They remind us to be kinder to ourselves and to others. They show us that nobody is perfect, and that’s what makes us human.
As I wrap up this little reflection, I want to leave you with a thought: The next time you look in the mirror, don’t focus on what you don’t like. Instead, look at the parts of yourself that tell your story. Maybe it’s the sparkle in your eyes that hints at your mischievous side, or the way your lips curve into a smile that could brighten someone’s day.
And if we were to meet, I hope you’d see beyond my 57 kilograms and find the person I am inside—because that’s the person I’d want to see in you, too. 💖
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, stories, and maybe even your secrets to confidence. Let’s inspire each other to embrace who we are, imperfections and all.
