How i was a snow maiden in kindergarten.

First came the costume. It turns out that it's not so easy to dress up adult Snow Maidens. The dress was found at the last moment - it looked more like a curtain from grandma's chest, generously sprinkled with glitter. "It's okay, you're a Snow Maiden, not a model," they reassured me. The wig turned out to be capricious: it kept trying to fall off while I was practicing my "Hello, kids!" But the main "star" was the hat. It was so big that it seemed to me as if I was working not as a Snow Maiden, but as an antenna technician, catching a signal from all the New Year trees in the world. At the party, I realized that children are a separate universe. They know how to ask questions that knock you off-script.
— Where's your phone, Snegurochka?
— Uh... I only have a magic staff!
— Why does Father Frost have a bigger staff?
— ...Um, well... because he's the boss!

It got worse. One child decided that my wig was an invisibility cap and pulled on it. To say that I was scared is to say nothing! It's good that the children quickly switched to Father Frost, whom they literally bombarded with questions and... tangerines.
By the way, about Father Frost. Our Father was not the most professional actor. His "Ho-ho-ho!" sounded more like a cough after a frost, and his beard kept slipping off somewhere. But the children were happy, and that's the main thing.
The culmination was the distribution of gifts. One child refused to take his, saying that he wanted a completely different car. I had to improvise:
- This is not a simple car, but a magic one! It will bring you a lot of happiness itself!
- Where is the button? - the boy asked suspiciously.
- Uh... It's invisible!
Anyway, the party went well, although not without adventures. I left there disheveled, as if after a snowfall, but happy. After all, seeing how children believe in a fairy tale is really great.
My conclusion? Being the Snow Maiden is fun, difficult and a little crazy. But honestly, I would do it again. If, of course, they give me a helmet in advance instead of this wig-hat! Snow Maiden Nadya.
