Living in an empty apartment is freedom and space, but sometimes this silence is oppressive. Especially in the evenings, when the city outside the window becomes quiet, and the shadows on the walls seem like something more than just lamplight. 🌃
I love being alone, I love my order and my comfort. But there are days when I want to hear someone's footsteps in the next room, and not just the purring of a cat. 🐾 These moments remind me how important human presence is. Sometimes I turn on an old movie or music to fill the emptiness, sometimes I just chat with friends on the phone - and it becomes easier.
But, you know, loneliness is not always bad. It teaches us to listen to ourselves, find joy in our own company and appreciate simple things. 🌱 Although sometimes I miss the voice next to me that will say: "How was your day?".
At such moments, I especially appreciate meetings with friends, family, or even just random conversations with neighbors in the elevator. Because even a small spark of communication warms the soul.
And how do you feel about loneliness? Do you like being alone or does the silence depress you? How do you cope with such moments? 🌟
Interesting fact about me: When I'm lonely, I sometimes talk to my cat Jesse, and he listens surprisingly attentively. 🐱💕
