As December arrives, a special atmosphere fills the air — the anticipation of miracles, the smell of tangerines, and the sparkle of New Year’s lights. I decided to share with you how my ordinary day unfolds during this magical time of year.

My day starts early. I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock and, stretching, peek out the window. Snow is quietly falling onto the street, creating a true fairy tale. I brew a cup of hot coffee with milk to warm up and sit down at the table for breakfast. Usually, it’s oatmeal with fruits or toast with avocado and ham — something light and healthy.

After breakfast, I head to work. The festive atmosphere is already in full swing at the office: colleagues are decorating the space with garlands and New Year’s ornaments. Yesterday, we cut out various snowflakes from colored paper and decorated our offices and workspaces with them. We discuss plans for the holidays, share gift ideas, and, of course, don’t forget about the New Year’s corporate party. Many colleagues are looking forward to unforgettable fun at the upcoming corporate event — music, dancing, tasty snacks, and everyone is eagerly anticipating their bonuses, hehe.

After work, I return home and start preparing for the evening. At this time of year, I especially enjoy cooking. I turn on my favorite music and get into baking — today it’s a casserole with mushrooms and cheese. But before the New Year, I’m thinking of baking a cake and some small cupcakes to share with my neighbors and guests.

Before bed, I love to treat myself to an evening of relaxation. I take a warm bath with essential oils, read a book, or watch New Year’s movies. This is a time when I can escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace.

Every day leading up to the New Year brings something new and magical. I hope this holiday brings joy and happiness not only to me but to everyone around.
