Imagine warm Italy, where on Christmas Eve they always serve "Panettone" - an airy sweet bread with candied fruits and raisins. At this time, families gather at the festive table and share symbolic bread as a sign of unity.

But in Norway, the traditional dish is "lutefisk" - cod cooked in a special way. This dish has a specific taste, but for Norwegians it is as important as kutya for Ukrainians.

In Mexico, Christmas is a real festival with dances and songs. There they break the piñata - a brightly decorated clay or paper figure filled with sweets. And among the dishes - tamales (corn rolls) and hot chocolate.

In Australia, Christmas falls in the middle of summer, so instead of snow there - sun and barbecue on the beach. The traditional dish is pavlova, a meringue dessert decorated with fruit, symbolizing lightness and a festive mood.

France also impresses with its festive traditions. The festive table is decorated with "Buch de Noel" - a roll in the form of a Christmas log, covered with chocolate cream. And in the evening, the French go to mass to celebrate the birth of Christ.

And even in distant Japan, where the Christian tradition is not so widespread, Christmas has become a popular holiday. A special feature is the tradition of tasting chicken from KFC, which the locals jokingly call "Christmas dinner".

These traditions show that regardless of culinary features, the main thing in Christmas is warmth, love and unity with loved ones. The variety of festive customs only adds a special charm to this day.

And which country would you like to visit for Christmas? 🎄🌍
