Today I will tell you how to turn ordinary dough into a real Christmas fairy tale, and at the same time I will add a couple of moments that guarantee cheerful chaos.
Making dough - or magic
My recipe is simple: milk, flour, yeast, eggs and a pinch of Christmas spirit. Of course, something goes wrong every time. For example, once I forgot to add sugar, and my guests wondered for a long time why the donuts tasted more like bread. But everyone laughed!
While the dough rises, you have time to get in the mood for the holiday. I usually turn on Christmas songs and do a little dance with a ladle. Surprises inside - anything but boring. The main highlight of my donuts is surprises. This is where the fun begins. Usually I put something unusual in each donut: a nut, a piece of chocolate, a coin (wrapped in foil, don't worry). But one day I got carried away and hid inside... a mint candy. Yes, yes, can you imagine the face of the person who expected chocolate, but got a refreshing surprise? Now this "mint donut" is a family legend.
Fry - and the adventure begins
This is where things can't be done without extreme sports. The oil always decides to live its own life, and sometimes the donuts turn into real "acrobats", jumping out of the pan. Last year, I even recorded a video of one of them flying to the floor. Friends still joke that this was the first donut that decided to run away from Christmas.
Decorating - time for creativity
When the donuts are ready, the most fun part begins - decorating. I take out the powdered sugar, colorful sprinkles, icing and... go! Sometimes my donuts look like little Christmas trees, sometimes - like weird snowballs. The main thing is to have fun!

And then comes the culmination - tasting! All guests take turns choosing a donut, trying to guess what's inside, and laughing when the surprise turns out to be unexpected. The most interesting thing is who gets the coin. This, of course, is a sign of good luck for the whole year! However, once I hid two coins, and the fight for the title of "the luckiest" began. Christmas donuts with a surprise: not only delicious, but also fun!
For me, these donuts are not just a treat, but a way to make Christmas even brighter. After all, the most important thing at a holiday is laughter, warm moments and, of course, a little magic
