I decorated the house with twinkling lights, put up a Christmas tree, and its needles filled the room with the scent of the forest. Each toy on the branches is a small story from my past, a memory of happy days.

This year, Christmas and New Year are especially touching for me. I feel how much has changed in my life, how much has become brighter and warmer. I am learning to appreciate simple joys, a cup of tea with my mother, evening walks, dreams of the future.
