Spend time on health
As you get older, you realize that health is the most important resource. I plan to move more, start every morning with light exercises, and spend the evenings on walks. I also want to try Pilates - they say it's great for your posture and mood.
Develop your hobbies
This year will be the year of creativity! I want to get back to painting with watercolors, which I loved so much in my youth. And also sign up for culinary courses - after all, what could be better than delighting your loved ones with delicious dishes?
Travel
Last year, I dreamed a lot about traveling, but I never got around to it. Now everything is different. I want to visit places I've never been to: maybe start with cozy towns in Italy or France, and then dare to go to Asia.
More time with loved ones
Time spent with family and friends is priceless. I want more meetings, dinners together, and warm conversations over a cup of tea. I'm also thinking about the tradition of family weekends - maybe with board games or mini-trips.
Allow yourself to be happy
Sometimes I forget that happiness is not only about global goals, but also about small joys. So my plan is to enjoy the little things: sunny days, good books, new films, and even just moments of silence with myself.
A new year in life is an opportunity to become better than yesterday, but remain yourself. Maria.
