Old New Year is a holiday filled with rituals and signs, many of which have come to us from ancient times. On the evening of January 13, it is customary to set the table, put traditional dishes such as vareniki, kutia and pancakes.
It is believed that if you have fun and be generous on this day, then the year will bring joy and prosperity. Another popular ritual is sowing. On the morning of January 14, children come into houses with congratulations and sprinkle grain to wish the owners a rich harvest and prosperity.
By following these traditions, we not only create a festive mood, but also let a little magic into our lives.
