When people find out that I am not only a director of an insurance company but also passionate about pole dance, they are often surprised. At first glance, these seem like two completely different areas, but for me, they are connected by one important element — discipline and the desire to grow.
Pole dance is not just a sport or a dance; it’s a whole philosophy. It teaches you not to be afraid to try new things, work on yourself, never give up, and believe in your abilities. Each new move on the pole requires patience, physical endurance, and persistence, but every time you overcome another challenge, you feel an incredible sense of victory over yourself.
These qualities help me in my professional life as well. Managing an insurance company involves constant challenges, responsibility for decisions, and working with people. The ability to maintain balance — both physically on the pole and mentally in business — has become my life principle.
When I first decided to pursue pole dancing, I didn’t know if I would succeed. Could I balance pole dance and work? How could I manage it all? But after my first class, I knew exactly what I wanted. I enjoyed feeling free, even though it was outside my comfort zone. But that’s the point — stepping outside your comfort zone and learning something new.
For me, pole dance is not just a hobby but a way to recharge. It reminds me that both the body and the mind are capable of more than we think. It’s an energy source that I then direct into my work.
All of this makes me better — both as a leader and as a person. I believe that the balance between physical and emotional development is the key to success, no matter what goal you set for yourself.
