What is a treasure map?
A treasure map is a visualization of your goals and desires, made in the form of a collage of pictures, words and symbols. The main rule is that the map should inspire you and energize you as soon as you look at it.Basic principles of Feng ShuiFeng Shui is based on the Bagua system - a grid that divides space into 9 zones. Each zone is responsible for a certain area of ​​life:
North — Career
Northeast — Knowledge, wisdom
East — Family, health
Southeast — Wealth
South — Fame, recognition
Southwest — Love, marriage
West — Creativity, children
Northwest — Helpers, travel
Center — Harmony
Each zone of the map should be filled with pictures symbolizing the desires associated with this area.
How to create a treasure map?
Choose a time and place
The best time to create a map is the beginning of the year or the new moon. A comfortable, quiet place will help you concentrate.
Prepare materials
A large sheet of paper or a board.
Magazines from which you can cut out pictures.
A printer for printing suitable images.
Scissors, glue, markers.
Identify desires by bagua zones
Example:
In the wealth sector (southeast), you can stick a picture of a luxurious house, a suitcase with money, or a symbol of gold.
In the love zone (southwest) - a picture of a happy couple, a ring or a heart.
In the center, place a photo of yourself where you are happy and smiling.
Add details and captions
To enhance the effect, sign each picture. For example: "I am enjoying my trip to Paris" or "My career is flourishing."
Activate the map
Put the map in a prominent place where you can see it every day. This will remind you of your goals and strengthen your intentions.
Personal example. When I created my treasure map, I put a picture of a beach in the Maldives in the travel sector (northwest). A few months later, an opportunity to go there on vacation arose - almost by accident! In the career zone, I placed a picture of a book with my name on the cover. I am currently working on writing it.
What to avoid? Do not use dark or scary images. Do not fill the map thoughtlessly - each image should be close to you.
