New world order: reality or myth?

What is a "new world order"?
This concept is often associated with a global restructuring of political, economic and social systems. It usually involves methods of global governance, redistribution of power between states and a single system of control. In history, this term was actively used during the Cold War and after the existence of the USSR, when the United States began to exert global power.

Signs indicating the possibility of a new order
Globalization. Economic ties are so diverse that all economies of one economy can cause a chain reaction. This forces leaders to look for ways to unified management.
Technological progress. The introduction of artificial intelligence, digital currencies and systemic surveillance creates tools that allow you to control and manage billions of people.
Environmental challenges. Climate change involves the unification of trends in all countries, which may become the basis for the formation of supranational governance.
Global crises. Pandemics, wars, and migration flows increase the need for competition between states.
Arguments of skeptics
On the other hand, many consider the new world order unrealistic for the following reasons:

There is a difference within the country: each leader seeks to protect the sovereignty of his country.
Contradiction between culture and religion: it is almost impossible to learn such different value systems.
Distrust of global institutions: many believe that organizations such as the UN or WHO are unable to cope with existing challenges.
Reality or myth?
The question of the reality of the new world remains open. Some aspects, such as the growing role of transnational corporations and digital control, are already creating the basis for global governance. However, the world is still divided into many states, each of which strives for independence.

Perhaps we will never see the “new world order” in its full sense. But the process of globalization and the strong interdependence of countries are already changing the familiar picture of the world. The question remains: will this be a boon for humanity or a call to our freedom?
