🕰 The first photograph in history
In 1826, the Frenchman Joseph Nicéphore Niépce creates the "world's first photograph" - on a plate covered with bitumen, under the influence of light, the bitumen hardened, forming an image. The exposure lasted about eight hours! Back then, cameras were bulky, and the process was incredibly complex.
Decades later, in 1888, George Eastman invented the first serial Kodak camera with film. His slogan was simple: "You press the button - we do the rest."
That's when the phrase "The bird is about to fly!" appeared - photographers used mechanical birds to attract children's attention.
📷 Black and white art
For a long time, photographs were only black and white. This had its own charm: contrasts, light, shadows - everything mattered. The darkroom was a place of magic: film came to life in baths with chemicals, and the photographer froze in anticipation of a miracle.
🚀 Modern photography
Today, the cameras in our phones take pictures in a split second. Artificial intelligence selects colors, exposure. But has the magic of film been lost?
And now a question for you, my dear readers:
📷 Do you still have film cameras?
📷 Does anyone still develop photos manually in a darkroom?
Photography has changed, but one thing has remained the same - it continues to store emotions and memories.
