It seems simple: you meet a person, fall in love, swear before god and people to be together, no matter what.

I'm probably old-fashioned (and I even like this about myself), but I've always believed that if you swear love before God, these are not just beautiful words, but an obligation. God does not bind something temporary, he unites forever. Of course, life can be difficult, people make mistakes, go through crises, but is love only about ease? Is being with a person only about joy? Isn't true feeling about overcoming difficulties together?

It seems to me that now we live in an era when the value of words is eroding. It is easier for us to leave than to figure it out. It is easier to say "it didn't work out" than to try to understand what is wrong. I have seen couples who have been through terrible storms, but stayed together because they believed that their union was more than just emotions. And you know, it is always inspiring. Because in a world where everything is temporary, to see such resilience is a real miracle.

But don’t get me wrong, I am not one to judge. I know that there are really difficult situations in life. I do not judge those who broke up. Everyone goes their own way, and sometimes it turns out to be more difficult than one could have imagined on the wedding day. I just want to believe that love is stronger than circumstances. That if you choose a person, then forever. That if you make a vow, then with faith that it is unbreakable. Otherwise, what is the point?

Maybe you will say that I am an idealist. Maybe. But it seems to me that without this faith in something more, relationships lose their meaning. If we do not believe that we can go through everything together, then why start at all? What do you think?
