Diy topiary: a Valentine that won't wither!
id: 10052353

What do we need?
🔹 The base is a foam ball, a floral foam, or even a crumpled newspaper (if you have an old magazine about "eternal love" lying around the house, you can put it to use 😆).
🔹 A stick - for the trunk. A pencil, a skewer, or even a twig from the street will do (if you want to add a touch of natural romance).
🔹 A pot - you can take a regular plastic one, a cup, or even a yogurt jar.
🔹 Decor - it all depends on your imagination! Hearts, roses, beads, ribbons, coffee beans, rhinestones and everything you can find in your bins.
🔹 Glue (preferably a hot glue gun) – because true love, like good glue, holds everything together tightly.

How to create this masterpiece?
1️⃣ Make the base. If you have a foam ball – great! If not, no problem: roll a tight ball out of newspapers and wrap it with threads.
2️⃣ Fix the trunk. Stick a stick into the ball and secure it with glue (and we believe that it will stand stronger than some relationships 😜).
3️⃣ Decorate the crown. Attach hearts, flowers or candies. Yes, you can make an edible topiary – love should be sweet! 🍬
4️⃣ Pot. Fill it with plaster, sand or foam, insert the trunk and decorate. Ribbons, beads – everything will do!

5️⃣ The final touch. Add glitter, bows and any little thing that makes the heart happy.

🎀 Ideas for inspiration:
❤️ Red and white topiary made of hearts – a classic of romance!
🌹 Topiary made of paper roses – beauty made with love.
🍬 Candy tree – because love and chocolate are best friends!
Give this masterpiece to your significant other, a friend or yourself (after all, who said that you can only give love to someone else?) With love and inspiration, Maria.
