You have 2 people who have come together. Both with different backgrounds and different mentalities.
In the beginning phases their is no boundaries and neither one is territorial.
Over time that gradually happens because of poor communication.
You married to have a family not a battle of wits or areas.
Now in reality no one is perfect.
A family member married a foreign man. He told her he doesn't do woman's work. My family said here's the vacuum, the broom and dust pan, dish soap and dishes. He looked at us in disbelief. The men in my family told him straight out there is no man's work or woman's work!
It's our work , together, both , we and that is how a family needs to be. He got offended we gave him a lecture about this. In life today life is far to challenging for both people not to work together.
Both man and women raise a family! Not just a woman or a man!
If men and women are wise? They know by helping their spouse out on every level. That gives them more time for everything in life. For dating, intimacy, and just relaxing. That builds strength to the home.
If a man won't help his woman out in their home ? He's a boy not a man! If a woman won't help her husband out she is a girl not a woman.
People need to put their selfish mentality and feeling entitled away for good.
A marriage is between 2 people not just 1.
Love doesn't happen instantly it develops and grows. One must be a gardener in their marriage. And always tend to it. Both men and women.
A real man will cook a meal, change a diaper, get the children ready, clean his home. A real woman will help her man on things in return. It's called working as a team! Every family I know where I live does that. Couples work together!
Maybe that's why about 60,000 Ukrainian and Russian have moved to this area over the years? Maybe that's why a few hours from me we have a Ukrainian youth camp for women who married men from my area? Maybe that's why the state I live in has a university in Kiev?
Maybe that's why divorce between those women and men here are less than .03%.
Less than 1%. In nearly 25 years.
Maybe that's why we have universities that teach Ukrainian and Russian language. The youth camp is designed to teach children born by Ukrainian women their culture and history. In my area it's normal for a husband and wife to work together equally.
About your statement about loving someone more or less. We all do that it's human nature. Doesn't mean they don't love you completely. Everyone has difficulties and bad times. But they still love the person.
Love and marriage is very hard work and devotion to one another! It's the toughest job you will love. Love is not chemistry, passion, spark, connection, vanity, lust, desire, or attraction.
