I believe that catholicism teaches us not only how to live, but also how to love.

Let's take, for example, the first commandments. Jesus said that the first commandment is to love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. But there is also a second commandment - to love your neighbor as yourself. How often do we forget about the second when all the attention is directed at ourselves? And how difficult it is for us to be truly kind and generous with those around us. This does not mean that you need to sacrifice yourself or forget about your needs, but true love is not only in receiving, but also in giving. This is the lesson that the Catholic faith taught me: love is not a feeling, it is an action.

When I look at my life, I understand how important it is not only to believe in God, but also to live in accordance with the values that He gave us. For me, personal faith is not only prayers and churches, but also every day that I live with an open heart. For example, one of the strongest parts of the Catholic tradition is forgiveness. Forgiving not only those who offended us, but also ourselves. I think this is a huge force that allows us to move forward and not look back at the past. After all, no matter how hard it is, love and forgiveness give the strength to let go of pain and start with a clean slate.

You may ask how the Catholic faith affects how I choose a partner. For me, it is not only physical attraction that is important, but also a deep connection. I believe that relationships built on mutual respect, trust and understanding are what give real harmony. Faith teaches us that love is not euphoria or momentary emotions, but a long and conscious journey in which two people teach each other, support each other and move towards common goals.

Of course, Catholicism also reminds us of the importance of creating a family, how important it is to love your children and raise them in the spirit of goodness. Family is the foundation, and I believe that each of us should strive to be good partners and parents. In this sense, Catholicism teaches us to be responsible, tolerant and always remember about love.

I am writing these lines to you because I want you to know that my faith helps me not only to overcome the difficulties of life, but also to discover true values. And I am sure that those who share these values can move forward together, supporting each other and creating something truly beautiful. After all, as St. Teresa of Avila said, “love is not something we feel, but something we do.”

I hope that we all find our own path filled with meaning and faith, and that this journey is based on true love and respect.

Best wishes,
She who believes in the power of love.
