Don't try to "coach" a man – mistake №3
id: 10047597

But instead of gratitude, you’re met with resistance, irritation, or even aggression. Why?
When you push unsolicited advice, your partner feels like an uneducated student being "fixed." This diminishes his experiences and decisions. And if you add criticism or hints that he's on the "wrong" path, the result will be the opposite of growth — he'll pull away.
What should you do?
Simply live according to your values. If your ideas are truly valuable, he’ll notice them through your results. People don’t like being taught, but they do get inspired by real-life examples.
And most importantly: your values must align. If your passions don’t excite your partner, don’t expect enthusiasm from him. That’s okay — everyone has their own path.
