Borscht is not just a soup, but a real symbol of coziness and home warmth. When I cook it, the aroma of fresh vegetables and spices fills the entire kitchen, and the process turns into real magic. I start with the broth - I like to cook it with beef, so that the taste is rich. While the meat is cooking, I fry the onions and carrots, add beets so that the borscht becomes bright red. Cabbage, potatoes, tomato paste - everything in order. But the main secret is a spoonful of vinegar and a little sugar to balance the flavors. When the borscht is ready, I let it brew. And then - to the table with ruddy pampushkas, garlic sauce and sour cream! This is an incredible pleasure.
