How to boost your self-esteem?

Tip #1: Look for evidence of your worth

We all have doubts about ourselves sometimes, and that’s okay. However, to boost your self-esteem, it’s important to learn to notice and appreciate the moments when others tell or show you that you’re great. You know, when someone compliments you or recognizes your skills? That’s evidence! Even if it’s just a small compliment from a colleague or a friend.

If you want to feel confident in your abilities, remind yourself of all the positive feedback about your intellect, achievements, and successes. The more of these moments you recall, the more you’ll believe in yourself. For example, think back to all the times you’ve been told that you’re smart, creative, or talented. It really helps!

You can apply the same approach to your appearance. Recall when someone told you that you’re beautiful or attractive. Break down those moments in detail and appreciate them!

Don’t be afraid to seek validation for yourself, and let every positive word become an important win.

Tip #2: Ignore negativity

Many of the things we hear about ourselves are just other people’s opinions, and they often don’t reflect reality. People can say anything, but not everything is worth your attention. Negative words that aren’t backed by constructive criticism shouldn’t affect you. Why dwell on things that aren’t worth your time?

Listen to yourself and don’t let others’ judgments dictate how you feel. Ignore words that hurt but don’t bring value, and stop taking them seriously.

Pay attention to what you say about yourself and believe in your strengths!
