You can accept the challenge and take part in the traditional "pillar test" - where the winner takes the main prize, and also pride for himself. Or just stop in the middle of the fair, breathe in this air and understand: Maslenitsa is more than a holiday. It is life returning to its true rhythm.
And when the evening comes, when a large bonfire is lit and the effigy of Winter is burned, you will feel something special. It will be a farewell to the cold not only outside, but also inside. It will be a new beginning.
