The first thing that fascinates me about Milan is its architecture. The main symbol of the city, the Duomo, amazes with its grandeur. I can stand in front of it for hours, contemplating every detail of this Gothic masterpiece. And if you climb to the roof of the cathedral, a panorama opens up that takes your breath away. Not far from the Duomo is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - a place where even the air is saturated with luxury and history. Here you can just walk, drink coffee in old cafes and enjoy the atmosphere that combines the past and the present.

Another reason why I love Milan is its style. This city sets trends, and everyone here looks impeccable. In the metro, on the street, in stores - everywhere you can meet people who look like they just stepped off the catwalk. In Milan, fashion is not just an industry, but a part of life. The headquarters of world brands are located here, and even if you don’t buy expensive clothes, just observing the style of the city’s residents is a special pleasure.

Milanese food is worth mentioning separately. Although the cuisine of Lombardy is different from the traditional “pasta” cuisine of Italy, it has its own special charm. Risotto Milanese with saffron, tender ossobucco, panettone, which is traditionally eaten at Christmas - all this is worth trying at least once in your life. And, of course, Italian coffee here is special: a small espresso in a cozy bar can cheer up even the gloomiest day.

But perhaps what attracts me most about Milan is its rhythm. It is not as relaxed as in Florence or Venice, where people are always in a hurry, doing business, doing art. Milan is a city of possibilities, energy and contrasts, where ancient buildings coexist with modern skyscrapers, and classical music sounds next to the electronic rhythms of trendy clubs.

Every visit here is a small holiday for me. I love Milan for its beauty, style, food and special mood, which makes me fall in love with this city again and again every time.
