my best habits and how they help me

## **1. Morning routine – the foundation for a successful day**
My mornings used to start with chaos: I’d jump out of bed, grab my phone, and then rush to get ready. As a result, everything would go wrong, and the day would already seem ruined.

Now I have a clear morning routine:
✅ **Getting up at the same time** – even if you don’t feel like it, but your body has gotten used to it.
✅ **A glass of water with lemon** – a small thing, but it helps you wake up.
✅ **10 minutes of stretching** – relieves morning stiffness.
✅ **At least 30 minutes without your phone** – less stress in the morning.

How does this help? My day starts consciously, without fuss, and I have time to tune in to work and things to do.

## **2. Planning and to-do list**
I used to keep everything in my head, and this led to constant stress. Now I write down tasks in notes or an app (I use Notion and a regular notebook).

How does this help?
🔹 I don’t forget important things.
🔹 I don’t get overwhelmed with thoughts, because everything is already written down.
🔹 There is a clear plan that helps structure the day.

## **3. Reading every day (even 10 pages is already cool)**
I used to think that you only need to read when you have free time. But then I realized that I would never have free time unless I set aside it specifically.

Now my habit is to read at least 10 pages a day. It could be a self-help book, fiction, or non-fiction.

How does it help?
📚 Expands your horizons.
📚 Helps you take a break from gadgets.
📚 Improves concentration.

## **4. Mindful use of social media**
Previously, I could get stuck on TikTok or Instagram for hours. Now I have a rule: **I only go on social media when I want to, and not out of inertia**.

How does it help?
🔹 I waste less time.
🔹 I compare myself less to others.
🔹 I live more in real life, and not on my phone.

## **5. Gratitude before bed**
Every night before bed, I write down three things I'm grateful for. It can be something big (like a great day) or small (delicious coffee, a kind smile from a passerby).

How does it help?
🌙 Improves your mood.
🌙 Helps you notice the good in life.
🌙 Reduces anxiety.

These habits didn't appear to me right away, I developed them gradually. But now they work for me, not against me. The main thing is not to force yourself, but to do everything with pleasure.

And what habits help you?
