Have you ever thought about how often loneliness comes unexpectedly? It seems that you are among people, among friends and loved ones, but still feel emptiness. Sometimes loneliness is not just the absence of people around, but something much deeper. It can fill the heart in moments when you are alone with yourself and begin to ask questions about the meaning, about life, about what will happen next. And, of course, loneliness is experienced very differently by women and men.
It is believed that women often feel loneliness more acutely than men. Yes, perhaps we women are more open about our experiences to some extent, we share emotions, we have support in the form of girlfriends or mothers, but there are also moments when inner emptiness becomes a heavy burden. But isn’t a man’s loneliness just as painful? It’s not just the absence of a loved one nearby, but also a feeling of failure or emptiness if you can’t find support in others.
I’m not saying that loneliness is bad in itself. Sometimes in loneliness we find the silence we need to hear our inner voice. But loneliness that makes us suffer, prevents us from moving forward, makes us think that we don’t deserve happiness – that’s really scary. We forget that there is always someone next to us who doesn’t leave us, even when we feel like we are alone. It is He, our Lord, who is always there to support, to listen, to help us get through difficult times.
In my prayer, I ask not only for those women who are experiencing loneliness. My request to you is to pray for all those who feel alone in this world. We are all God's children, and God does not want any of us to be alone. It is especially important to pray for those who have despaired of finding their soulmate, for those who cannot find a close person to communicate with. It does not matter how old this person is, his status or place in life. The main thing is that he is alone in this world, and his heart is sad.
I am addressing you as a man who perhaps understands what it means to be close to someone who needs support. You can pray, support in your thoughts those who are alone. Let your prayer be not only a request for your family, not only for women, but also for everyone who desperately needs support.
I understand that in this world full of worries and problems, praying for someone may seem like something unnecessary, not so important. But I believe that every good deed, every moment when we think about others, comes back to us. These are not just words, but actions that can change something in another person’s life. And maybe your prayer will be the spark that brings light to someone’s heart.
I know that sometimes we need to learn to forgive ourselves, learn to open up to the world and the people around us. And if you are feeling hard and lonely right now, know that you are not alone. First, start by praying for others, and then, perhaps, you will find the strength to pray for yourself.
Sunday is a time for reflection, to pay attention not only to yourself, but also to those around you. On this day, we all become closer to God, and perhaps this prayer will become an important step for your own soul.
With love and hope, He who believes in light and kindness in the world.
