World kidney day: why it matters for everyone of us 💧
id: 10056629

Today I want to talk about an important, but often underestimated topic - our kidneys. World Kidney Day reminds us how important it is to take care of the health of these small but vital organs. Kidneys are not just filters that clean the blood, but also organs that affect many processes in the body, including metabolism, water-salt balance and blood pressure. And for men, it is especially important to know about kidney health, as they may face certain risks. ⚠️

As women, we are often more inclined to visit doctors and take care of our health, but I want you, dear men, to also realize how important it is to take care of your body. Many of you may not pay attention to symptoms that may indicate kidney problems until it is too late. It's not just swelling, fatigue or lower back pain, but also problems with urination, high blood pressure, or even unreasonable nausea and headaches. 😔

Unfortunately, kidney disease often progresses asymptomatically, and by the time symptoms become apparent, the situation can already be quite complicated. Chronic kidney disease is a problem that is directly related to lifestyle, nutrition and the presence of other diseases, such as diabetes or hypertension. Men, especially those aged 40+, are at greater risk, since with age, the kidneys lose their function, and bad habits (such as alcohol abuse or smoking) aggravate the situation. 🍻🚬

But here's the good news: many kidney problems can be prevented or slowed down. Regular examinations, blood pressure control, a healthy diet low in salt and fat can all significantly reduce the risks. And if you notice any signs of impaired kidney function, it is important not to delay a visit to the doctor. 🩺💡

I know that in your life there is often a lot of work, stress, and not always enough time for yourself. But this day is a reminder that your health should not be the last priority. World Kidney Day is a chance to think about your body, take a step towards better health and prevent future problems. 💪
Please take care of your kidneys and they will take care of you😊

Masha😉
