Perfectionism was my constant companion for a long time - striving for perfection led to a constant feeling of guilt for the smallest mistakes and inhibited the creative process. Gradually I realized that striving for perfection not only creates barriers, but also takes away the joy of the creative process itself. As I began to practice accepting my mistakes and seeing them as steps on the path to development, I felt more freedom to experiment and express myself every day. Letting go of rigid standards allowed me to create without fear and shyness, to see beauty in imperfection and to appreciate the process of self-expression. Today, I see that perfectionism is a trap, while the freedom to be myself brings true satisfaction and inspiration.
