Should a girl text first?
id: 10045767

I've always believed that relationships are a mutual process. And if I like a person, why should I wait for him to text first? What if he's just not sure that I'm interested? Or thinks that I won't answer?

It seems to me that the fear of making the first move is connected not only with traditions, but also with the usual human fear of rejection. We are afraid that we will be ignored or will not be answered the way we would like. But if you look at it more simply, what are we losing? At most, we will not get an answer. And at best, we will start an interesting conversation that will lead to something more.

Of course, there are men who do not text first on principle, because they consider it their business. But I think that relationships should be built on interest in each other, and not on following old rules.

If you like a person, text. This doesn't mean you're going to stalk him or force anything on him. It's just an expression of interest.

And how do you feel about this? Did you text first? How did men react to this? And what do you think about when a girl takes the initiative into her own hands?
