St. Patrick is associated with three things: the shamrock, snakes, and the color green. The shamrock, which the saint used to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish, became a symbol of Christianity and Ireland itself. According to legend, St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland, which in culture became a symbol of the triumph of good over evil.

The color green is a symbol of renewal and nature, as well as Ireland itself, where green fields cover much of the landscape. On St. Patrick's Day, people traditionally wear green, and in some countries, this color is associated with luck and happiness.

Beyond these symbols, the holiday reminds us of the importance of unity and national pride. There is something universal about this day - a desire to come together, celebrate one's roots, and, of course, enjoy life.
