Here's a secret list of what we actually do:

1️⃣ Two hours picking out an outfit. The option of “something light and comfortable” is immediately rejected, because it should be beautiful but not too much, hot but not vulgar, stylish but not dressy... In the end we wear something that we are just lucky not to look like a penguin. 🐧

2️⃣ Choosing perfume. We want something unobtrusive but exciting... We end up spritzing on five different ones and now we smell like a flower store, a vanilla bun and an expensive mystery all at the same time. 🌺🍪🕵️‍♀️

3️⃣ Thinking about how we're going to smile. An ordinary smile? A mysterious one? A little humble? God, what's the right way to smile?! 😁

4️⃣ Mentally play out scenarios. How will the loved one behave? Will he be nice? Will you be cheeky? Will he make eye contact or look at his phone? What if he wants to kiss me right away... ? 😳 Okay, let's keep that one a secret.

5️⃣ Rehearsing the meeting. Seriously! While we're getting ready, we may accidentally say our loved one's name out loud or say “Hi” in the mirror to check how it will sound. Yes, we are that funny!

6️⃣ The final step is to show up and look like it all came easy and uncluttered. After all, we are sophisticated, easy and charming creatures, not anxious strategists in special ops mode. 😉

So, if a girl came to a date with a little bit of excitement - well, it was definitely a whole adventure! 😆
