In general, people are not so good at hiding their feelings, especially if they are sincere. There are a number of signs that give out sympathy, even if a person tries to control himself. I learned to notice such details, and they helped me understand the true intentions of the interlocutor.

1. A view that speaks more than words

When a person likes, his eyes give him out with his head. I happened to notice how someone's gaze lingered on me a little longer than usual, especially when he thought that I did not notice. If someone often looks at you, and then embarrassedly sees his eyes, this is a clear signal of sympathy. Another sign is expanded pupils. This happens unconsciously when someone is attractive to a person.

2. Search for reasons for communication

If I notice that a person regularly finds reasons to talk to me, even if the topics are completely insignificant, this is a sign. “Random” meetings, spontaneous messages, a discussion of little things that could not be discussed - all this may mean that a person wants to spend more time with me.

3. Physical contact

Light touch is a powerful indicator of sympathy. If a person unobtrusively touches my hand, shoulder or delays the handshake longer than usual - this means that I am not indifferent to him. Of course, it is important to consider the context here: if it’s just a gesture of friendship or habit, it can mean nothing. But if the contact is accompanied by a smile or embarrassment, the chances are great.

4. Special behavior next to me

I noticed that people behave differently with different people. If someone begins to worry next to me, nervously correcting clothes, playing with objects in his hands-this may be a sign that he likes me. Another point - if he laughs at my jokes, even if they are not the funniest.

5. Interest in my life

When a person asks questions not just out of politeness, but is really interested in my life - this is a good sign. Especially if he remembers the little things: what book I read now, what I love for breakfast, what is my favorite movie.

6. Support and care

If a person not only communicates with me, but also shows care, he is interested in how I am doing, offers help, remembers about important events for me - this is a sure sign of sincere sympathy.

7. A desire to spend time together

When I like someone, I try to find an opportunity to see this person more often. If a man does the same - offers meetings, calls for a walk, wants to see me for no reason - this is a signal that I am interesting to him.

Of course, one of these signs should not be perceived separately - it is important to look at the overall picture. But if I notice several of these points at once, the probability that a person is not indifferent to me is very great.

The main thing is to listen to your feelings and not be afraid to trust intuition. Sometimes we ourselves feel sympathy long before we notice obvious signs.
