Once something strange happened to me…🤔

I was visiting my friend in a small old house, where, as they say, an old woman used to live. She passed away many years ago, but according to the locals, her spirit still wanders the rooms. Of course, I was skeptical about these stories.

But on the very first night, I was haunted by a strange sound - as if someone was whispering in the hallway. I got up, turned on the light - silence. And when I lay back down, the sound appeared again. It seemed to be somewhere nearby, as if someone was talking in a language that I could not understand.

The next day I told my friend, and she just chuckled: "You're not the first one to hear her voice." Her words made me shudder.
It was all a coincidence, I convinced myself. There was just a draft in the house, the wooden floor was old and creaking, and the sounds were just a figment of my imagination.

But then something happened that gave me goosebumps. I walked into the small living room, and an old lamp on the bookshelf suddenly started swinging. It didn't just move a little - it started swinging, as if someone had touched it. I stood there, motionless, and then I felt - as if someone was breathing down my neck. I turned around - no one.

The next day, my friend showed me an old photograph of that woman, and I froze.

I saw her. It was she who appeared in my dream that night — standing by the window, looking at me and trying to say something... I remembered her lips moving in a silent phrase. And then I became truly scared.
What if she really wanted to tell me something? Some secret, a warning or just... a confession of her loneliness?

After that incident, I stopped laughing at mysticism. We don’t know everything, and perhaps there are things that are beyond our understanding.
