The other day I was supposed to go to another city. A very important trip: business, meetings, and a little "break out of the routine." I, like a real organized lady (at least, that's what I thought), packed my suitcase a few days in advance, bought tickets, even did my nails to match the color of the dress I was going to shine in ๐คญ๐
In the evening, the day before the "trip", I was sitting with a glass of wine, imagining how I would wake up tomorrow, slowly wash my face, put my hair in a bun, make coffee... Just like in the movies, where the heroine is not late, and everyone around is late for her.
And then I get a notification from the app:
"Your bus leaves in 15 minutes. Enjoy your trip!"
WHAT?! ๐ณ
At that second, I realized that my perfect plan had collapsed. The bus was leaving today, and not "tomorrow at lunchtime", as I somehow convinced myself. I was running around the apartment like a squirrel in a wheel - shoes in one hand, a hairbrush in the other, and tears of "why am I like this?!" were not running down my cheeks, but rather tears of "why am I like this?!"
To say that I was late is to say nothing. I literally ran out into the street, stopped, looked at the sky and said:
"Okay, Universe, I won... but the round will be mine!" ๐ช๐
Then I came home, shoved the suitcase back into the corner, ordered pizza, turned on a comedy and realized:
Sometimes even fails can be cute, especially if you have a good sense of humor and a supply of jelly beans ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ
So now I'm looking for someone who also knows how not to get angry at being late, but to turn them into stories. Someone who won't argue if I mix up the time (well, at most, he'll laugh, hug me and say: "At least we'll have something to remember").
If you're like that, write. I promise I won't be late for our date (99% for sure ๐).
And if I am late, I'll be there with coffee and a sincere smile ๐๐ธ
