Hello. Do you also find yourself getting high on loneliness sometimes? No, not the forced kind, but the kind you choose. An evening with no calls, no plans, no “what are you doing Friday?” Just you, the couch, and the one show that no one cares about but you adore. Or long walks where you don't have to talk to anyone. Or dancing in the kitchen with a cup of tea to your favorite track. Why are we so ashamed to admit that loneliness is not sad, but comfortable? Maybe because we are programmed from childhood that being alone is bad? Or maybe because admitting it means becoming “different”? What do you think: is loneliness an enemy or a best friend?
