Hello. Feminism used to feel like a breath of fresh air.
Now it feels more like signing up for a never-ending marathon of "be everything, all the time."
Have a career? Good for you. Don’t have one? Why aren’t you contributing?
Take care of your looks? You’re shallow. Don’t care about them? You’ve let yourself go.
Want a relationship? You’re needy. Don’t want one? No one’s going to love you with that attitude anyway.
Technically, we have choices. But somehow, no matter what you choose, someone will tell you you’re doing it wrong.
And here’s the funny part — we fought for freedom, but now we’re scared to ask for help. Because strong women don’t need help, right?
Except sometimes, all you want is for someone to hand you a cup of tea and say, “You’re doing great.” No lectures. No judgment.
Maybe the issue isn’t with feminism itself, but with all the noise around it.
Or maybe we’ve just been trained to always be winning — and never to rest.
When was the last time you just laid down, didn’t rush anywhere, and didn’t feel guilty about it?
