The modern world and the hatred of loneliness

Loneliness. Everyone who is about to open this post has already gone through this word to some degree. Everyone fears loneliness, and everyone tries their best to “survive” with it. But in doing so, we often forget that loneliness is not a prison, but instead a doorway to a world of freedom.
And it is not sadness. It is a time for personal discovery, for self-creation. Except that the world is not so simple: social networks, where you see people smiling all the time, showing their ideal life. You want to believe it, but we all know it - there's just good angles and filters out there.
Have you ever wondered: if it weren't for this constant race to “not be alone,” maybe you'd learn to live in harmony with yourself?
Because, really, if you have time to be alone with yourself, you can open up whole new horizons. But no, everyone's going for the “we”, forgetting the “I”. Where's everybody running to, huh?

Back
