I used to think that love was simple and straightforward. You meet someone, you feel the spark, and everything seems to be like in the movies - always passion, attention, sincerity, and no doubts. But for some reason, over time, it all started to look like something far from the ideals I was drawn to as a child.

I watch as everyone around me starts looking for love, but not the love they once had. We've all become too busy obsessing about “finding the one,” “having the perfect relationship,” or just not being alone. And that's where all the confusion starts.

You know what I've noticed? Everyone around here is confused about themselves these days.
I used to believe that love is acceptance, when things aren't perfect, when there are fights, but you're there for each other. Nowadays, everyone expects something special, some super deep connection that we see on social media. We look for the perfect relationship, forgetting that a relationship doesn't have to be perfect to be real. Sometimes it's simple. Sometimes love is just being there for you and being supportive, even if you're not having a perfect day. And for some reason, we've gotten used to thinking that if it's not “forever” or “fabulous” then it's wrong.

We've forgotten what it used to be like when you could just look at a person and smile. All those expectations, fears, and insecurities - they bring down our relationships. We don't know how to be real, open like we used to be. We put an ideal on a pedestal that becomes harder to achieve every year.

Maybe love is no longer what it used to be because we put too much into it. Not only that, but we've forgotten that it just has to be - just the way it is, without perfectionism or unnecessary expectations. Why not just let yourself be in love without thinking that it might not be as perfect as it is in the books?

Love doesn't have to be super romantic or striving for perfection. It has to be real, even if things don't always work out as planned.
