Do you want to be happy? forget about the past
id: 10056842

We often live in our memories, tormenting ourselves with what has been. We keep replaying past mistakes, pains, and failures in our minds, and they become a part of who we are in this moment. But how often do we ask ourselves: why can’t we just let it all go? Why do we keep clinging to the past, like an anchor that prevents us from moving forward?

The present moment is the only thing that truly exists, yet we continue to hold on to a non-existent past, as if it shapes our future. In reality, the more we are tied to old memories, the less space we have for happiness right here and now. It seems that if we learn to let go of old wounds, free ourselves from resentments and regrets, we can make room for real moments of happiness. The past cannot become part of our future unless we let go of it.

We so often deny ourselves the right to be happy because we’re always thinking about what happened, what didn’t work out, what left a mark. But what if happiness is not a goal, but a process? A process in which there is no room for old grudges and mistakes. A process where letting go of the past becomes the key to true happiness. To be happy, we not only need to learn to forgive others but also forgive ourselves. Accept that the past can’t be changed, and that we deserve to be happy, no matter what has been.
