How i learned to enjoy being alone
id: 10052869

It all started when I decided to spend a whole day without my phone (yes, I'm shocked I decided to do it myself). In the morning I brewed my favorite cinnamon coffee, turned on some jazz and just... sat. Looked out the window, thought about stuff. Then I went for a walk in the park, took my notebook and started writing down everything that came to mind. And you know what? It was like a date with myself.
I realized that solitude is a time when you can hear your thoughts, dreams, desires. Without noise, without other people's expectations. Now I organize such “days to myself” at least once a week. I can go to a cafe with a book, watch a movie I've wanted for a long time, or just sort through my closet to my favorite playlist.
So if you too are sometimes afraid of silence - try making friends with it. Start small: half an hour without social media, a walk alone or just a cup of tea in silence. I promise you will learn something new about yourself.
