Recently, I had a small (well, actually, a giant) transport fuck-up 😂
I was going to another city - not for business, my soul just wanted to change the picture.
I got ready in advance: coffee in a thermos, my favorite soundtrack to "Amelie" on the playlist, a book in my backpack, even the mood was somehow romantic and dreamy.
The bus, as I was sure, leaves at 1:20 am.
I calculated everything.
I arrive at the station - it's dark, cool, no one is there. I sit down, take out a book, think: how lovely, quiet, solitude...
Half an hour passes... an hour...
A security guard comes up, looks at me in surprise: - Girl, why are you here alone?
- I'm waiting for the bus. At 1:20.
He glances at the board, then at me... and with this mixture of sympathy and laughter says:
- Your bus is not at 1:20 at night, but at 13:20 - in the afternoon...
And here I am, the clock says half past one in the morning, not a soul around, and the bus is... well, only 12 hours away! 😅
You know, at first I just wanted to fall and dissolve in the concrete slabs of the station.
But then... I decided - why not make a mini-adventure out of it?
I wrote poetry (strange, but with soul), looked at the stars, ate hot pies from a night granny who seemed to know everything about everyone and almost gave me advice on my personal life.
I danced to music in headphones, like the heroine of a video.
At some point, I even thought: maybe fate just gave me extra time so that I could finally stop?..
Tell me, has something so ridiculous happened to you that at first you wanted to scream, and then - remember with a smile?
It seems to me that it is these moments that make us truly alive.
They show how we can react, adapt, laugh at ourselves.
And sometimes ... they connect people, because everyone has their own story in their soul that they want to tell someone.
I did not come here for likes and boring dialogues.
I want the real thing - without pathos, but with warmth.
I dream of meeting a person with whom I can talk about everything — from stupid jokes to the meaning of life.
Laugh when everything goes wrong.
Mix up a hundred more buses together — just to remember it later, lying in an embrace.
So... if you smiled, if something inside responded — write to me.
Tell me what stupid thing happened to you.
Or simply: would you have stayed with me at that station for 12 hours? 😊
I'm waiting for your letter. But, unlike the bus, you can come early. I won't be offended. 😉
