Good is not always loud
It does not require applause.
Sometimes it is simple:
– Not to respond to evil with evil.
– To support in difficult times.
– To be honest, even when it is more profitable to lie.
– To forgive when it is easier to be offended.
Evil is not always obvious
It can hide in indifference. In silent agreement. In “passing by, because it is not my business.”
Sometimes evil is simply not doing good when you could.
Why is this the highest wisdom?
Because in a world full of information, emotions, noisy opinions and temptations, remaining a person with an internal compass is a feat.
This is the ability to see the essence behind words. To feel the truth, even if it is inconvenient. And to choose not what is easier, but what is right.
Wisdom is not being perfect.
It is being attentive, sensitive, honest.
Not blindly believing in the rules, but looking with your heart.
Understanding where your freedom ends - and the pain of another begins.
A question that is worth asking yourself more often:
Does what I do create light? Or shadow?
After all, in the end, it is not so important how many books you have read, how many languages you know, or how far you have advanced in your career.
What is important is who you have become inside.
And which side you choose again and again, every day, in the most ordinary actions.
To distinguish between good and evil - and to choose good - is what makes a man truly wise.
