Why do we live by rules that don't exist?
id: 10053523

We are all accustomed to following certain rules. Someone said that by 25, you should be successful, married, and have everything in order. Others say that building a career needs to follow a specific scheme. But what if all these "rules" are just illusions created by society? After all, no one can definitively say what it means to be successful or happy.

We live in a world where "normalcy" is considered the highest value. But when we ask ourselves what normalcy truly means, we realize that everything around us is just a set of habits, social constructs, and imposed ideals. We do things the way we've been taught, the way our parents or society expected us to. But why can't we simply live the way we feel?

Why follow all these rules if they don't define our real life? Is it more important to live "by the system" or to be true to ourselves? In the end, each person decides what truly matters to them.
